“I AM SNOWBOARDING” is a collaborative art project in honor of Jeff Anderson on November 14th, 2009 in Mammoth Lakes, California.

The idea behind the project was to gather Jeff’s family, friends, photographers, filmers and artists who worked with Jeffy, and showcase their images (with an artistic twist). Each photographer paired up with an artist, picked out a photo and printed it to canvas. At that point the printed canvas was delivered to the artist and they would then add their flavor to it.

I’m honored to work with Shane Charlebois (Absinthe Films) who’s been a great friend to myself and the Anderson family for so many years. Jeffy and I lived together in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Burton Team House while he flimed his stand out video parts with Kingpin Productions, with his main filmer being Shane (with epic sidekick Mike Leblanc). It was an amazing two years witnessing JLA film these movie segments and see his rise to snowboard legend status.

The opening is 6PM at The Village of Mammoth on November 14th, 2009. Make plans to attend the event and maybe get a few turns in on Mammoth Mountain as well. I’ll be reminding ya’ll about the event a couple more times before this special Saturday rolls around.
