Artist John Perry

Brooklyn artist John Perry. In his own words: “I want those who are from New York to be able to feel and recognize their beloved city and its people, in all its depth; and for those who are not from New York, to experience the city as if they were natives. I do this by working from direct observation, without the aid of photos. No matter what movements or fashion changes in art, this way of working, I believe, firmly, produces a timeless result.”
