We promised you more use of the words “love” and “letter,” and here it comes! We got the chance to pick up the new book by Steven Powers/ESPO “A Love Letter For You: Brick Valentines On The Philly Skyline.” The wonderfully landscape formatted book comes with tons of photographs from the famed writer’s A Love Letter For You mural project that spans ten or so blocks in West Philadelphia. The photos show not only the mural, but the process, sketches, community, and impact that all made the works happen. Recommended for anyone who’s a fan of Steven Powers/ESPO’s work, or anybody who just wants to check out some great art in unusual places that’s not your standard art-school stencils.
