A lot of people will say they like the Pixies because of Frank Black. A lot of people will tell you they like the Pixies because they were in Fight Club. I like the Pixies because of Kim Deal. She achieved “major pre-teen crush status” long before I shed the glasses and bowlcut and was un-nervous enough to talk to a member of the opposite sex. Enough of my tales of teenage awkwardness.
