As she prepares to drop her next smash of an album, M.I.A. recently took to the streets of New York with photographer Ryan McGinley right at her side for a feature in the New York Times. She sure gets the McGinleyian treatment with some great outdoors shots in the great metropolis, including getting doused with water, swinging high above the rooftops, and frolicking around fire––the perfect combination of Ryan McGinley’s style meshing perfectly with New York City.
