Girls Don’t Count At Shadow’s Space Recap and Pictures

I ventured out on a rather pleasant Friday night here in Philadelphia to scope the latest show from one of my favorite local galleries. Shadow’s Space played host to the opening of “Girls Don’t Count,” an exhibition featuring all female artists ranging from various mediums including photography, painting, illustration, and mixed media. While mostly stoked to see the work of Angela Boatwright, Kembra Pfahler, and Alexis Trice (all of whom did not disappoint in the least bit), the entire show was rad, including Bijoux Altamirano, Marti Domination, Kimberly Sheridan (a personal favorite), Kellesimone Waits, Meryl Smith, Lisa Lebofsky, Aliya Naumoff, and Kathy Grayson. Props to Nikki Sneakers for curating an excellent show. Check out some of the work below. Or stop by the gallery as the show will run until August 27th.
