Archive of Attitude: A Collection Of Works By Janette Beckman At Project Space

Janette Beckman’s first gigs including shooting the likes of The Clash, The Jam, The Sex Pistols, and Boy George. Pretty impressive, right? Well now try this one: after that she did three album covers for The Police. Still not convinced? In 1982 she moved to NYC and got down in the hip-hop culture shooting Afrika Bambaata, Run DMC, Salt-N-Pepa, Grandmaster Flash, and EPMD. Got it now? Good. If so, then head to Project Space on August 12th for Archive of Attitude, an exhibition of collected works from Beckman.
