Books: Trespass. A History of Uncommissioned Urban Art

This September, Taschen will release a new book chronicling the rise and reach of global urban art and graffiti. Trespass. A History of Uncommissioned Urban Art features key works from over 150 artists including Jean Tinguely, Spencer Tunick, Keith Haring, Os Gemeos, Jenny Holzer, Barry McGee, Gordon Matta-Clark, Shepard Fairey, Blu, Billboard Liberation Front, Guerrilla Girls and Banksy as well as unpublished images of work by Haring and Basquiat and unpublished photos from one of our feature artists, Martha Cooper. The book was curated by Sara and Mark Schiller of Wooster collective and features the penmanship of Carlo McCormick. Check out some images from inside the book below.
