Plug Tunin’ – Liz Phair “Never Said”
Liz Phair’s song “Never Said” is ripe with scorned love, lies, bad grammar, and the angst and attitude that came to represent “grunge” and “alternative.” Don’t worry about what she did more recently, though. Exile in Guyville is still probably one of the best (or just one of my super favorite) albums ever. Go ahead and give it a listen and see if you don’t feel the exact same way you did when you first heard it. Granted, it’s probably different for ladies out there, but we all felt something.
