Silas Finch “Vessel” At Corduroy Boutique and Gallery
This Friday, August 6th, Corduroy Boutique and Gallery will present sculptures from Silas Finch in an exhibition called Vessel. Here’s the info:
Vessel is a collection of work that explores the many forms of a vessel; a ship, a found object, the human body, and even a skateboard deck. Each vessel that Finch has created for this collection represents a story, a factual event in our history, a reminder of the past and a reminder of how far we have come ~ how far we need to go.
Along side the amazingly detailed sculptures that will fill the gallery and window space, Finch has graciously decided to raffle one sculpture from the exhibit to provide an opportunity to those who may not be able to afford a piece at full price.
Tickets for the raffle will be available to purchase online and in the gallery for $5 beginning on opening night. At the end of the exhibit a very lucky winner will be announced.
In addition to a raffle, Finch is donating 10% of all sales to theMake A Wish Foundation of Portland, Maine.
