Bi-Mentional D’Motion Shunt Exhibition At Shadow’s Space Recap And Photos
On Friday, one of our favorite gallery spaces here in Philadelphia, Shadow’s Space opened up an unhauntingly freaky affair with their Bi-Mentional D’Motion Shunt exhibition, which included not only a “space dog” (vegan hot dog) station out front, but also a plethora of art work inside. The main gallery space featured an eclectic mix of various mediums, mostly illustration and painting, along with some sculptures in the form of masks (picking them up and putting them on was encouraged). With lots of bright colors all around and some fantastic pieces from the likes of The Peaceful Traveler (who co-curated the show), David McCall, Ethan Montgomery, and Brendan Gavin, among others. The real tasty morsel in this exhibition lies another one of the gallery rooms where an installation and pieces were made even more awesome by the aid of a blacklight! Total freak-out party which is the perfect way to end the summer. See some more images below.
