Michael Leon “Vexhall” At Pool Gallery In Berlin

Man, Berlin sure is one lucky duck all of the sudden. Not only do they get a great show from Aaron Rose, but TONIGHT, Michael Leon will open his “Vexhall” exhibition at Pool Gallery. The title for the exhibition should say it all if word etymology is your thing. If not, the term loosely translates to “Hall of Flags.” Drawing from his personal history and his fascination with flags, Leon has created and designed flags forreal and imagined countries, events, friends, emotions, ex-girlfriends, and everything in between. Some using the strict guidelines of flag design, next to others that may have been scribbled on a napkin or inspired by a dream.
