Books: Dan Colen “Out Of The Blue”
Is it just us, or is OHWOW constantly doing really cool shit left and right? I don’t think it’s just us. Case in point: their latest offering–a new book from Dan Colen entitled “Out Of The Blue.” The book, which comes Smyth-sewn hard cover, 9 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches, 43 pages, fully illustrated with text by Neville Wakefield, focuses on the artist’s legendary series of paintings based on a single image of Geppetto’s worktable. Each image is made unique by the inclusion of different phrases eminating from the smoke in the blown out candle from the image. The book, which was published by Gagosian, is available signed from the OHWOW online store and physical stores. Take a little video preview here.
