Conner Contemporary Art Presents Federico Solmi “Douche Bag City”

Around here, we’re a sucker for an art show with a great name. And Federico Solmi’s “Douche Bag City” has got us sucking away, whatever that means. Bad analogies aside, opening up October 30th at Conner Contemporary Art in Washington DC, the exhibition takes a look at Wall Street in a satirical way with animation and digitally manipulated paintings as well as a large scale sculpture from Solmi’s Evil Empire and a 3D animation in collaboration with Russel Lowe and Lee Gibson. The exhibition runs until December 18th.
