This Saturday, October 23rd, New Image Art Gallery will be steaming things by invited you to a Ménage à Trois. While the name takes on a whole other connotation in the world of sexual acts, this Ménage à Trois sees Steve Olson, Susanne Melanie Berry, and CR Stecyk III getting together as long time pals and comrades showing large-scale works, photographs, and posters. Using that underlying sexual innuendo of the three-person act, the show looks at the socio-cultural aspects of sex and how it influences and is derivative of social norms. Olson and Stecyk will both show their driven and seedier works while Berry will showcase a collection of photographs of women’s undergarments as still-lifes. How revealing.
