Philadelphia’s Lilys, or more accurately, the brainchild of only-constant member Kurt Heasley, kind of played the chameleon role throughout the 90s, moving from shoegaze to straight up guitar-driven pop and on into other musical forms that are just as nomadic as the band themselves have been over the last 20 years. And, in those 20 years and numerous musical differences, they were always pretty darn good.
