Raymond Pettibon “Hard In The Paint” At David Zwirner Gallery

While this opened over the weekend, it’s definitely still a show worth noting. David Zwirner Gallery in New York City proudly presents an exhibition of new works by the legendary Raymond Pettibon. “Hard In The Paint,” which is a reference to basketball, deals with dealing with a defensive pressure with an aggressive disposition. The work itself reflects this saying with drawings unified by bold and vivid lines amidst a striking composition while addressing violence, sex, humor, evolution, and sport. The exhibition is on display until December 21st, and it’s definitely worth checking out surely based on Pettibon’s canon of work thus far.
