Books: José Parlá – Walls, Diaries, and Paintings

As he prepares to open a new exhibition at Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery in March, José Parlá, in the meantime, will release a new monograph from Hatje Cantz Verlang. Walls, Diaries, and Paintings culls a series of works from Parlá that brings his visual storytelling to the pages and follows his work from the urban landscape to the gallery wall with acrylic and oil paints, gypsum, poster collages, self-mixed inks. The book is available for pre-order purchase here and will release in February.
