Grain Edit Interviews Rilla Alexander

Always on point with illustrations, Rilla Alexander spent the latter part of 2010 releasing a new book entitled “Her Idea.” The book follows a girl named Sozi as she tries to put her jumble ideas and concepts into reality. Super-inspiring website Grain Edit recently sat down with Rilla to discuss the book, and the inspirations behind it, which include “My own love of and struggle with ideas and inspiration. The story is about being full of ideas….but finding that it’s not always all that easy to make them happen. It’s about procrastination and self-doubt but…ultimately…how to finish something.”

Definitely a good interview (read it here), and the book is definitely worth picking up if you’re in the creative field or just a fan of illustration.
