Jim Drain Limited Edition Print And Wallpaper From Exhibition A
Jim Drain, one of our favorites, recently completed some projects for Exhibition A, both of which appear in our feature with him from Issue #5. The above is a limited edition print, while the image below is the wallpaper. Here’s the info:
Jim Drain is perhaps best known for his colorful knits that have existed in the form of sculpture, clothing, and most recently as the inspiration for his Exhibition A wallpaper. A RISD graduate, he has exhibited at the Lyon and Whitney Biennials as well as the legendary Deitch Projects. Jim lives and works in Miami.
Today Exhibition A presents two works by Jim Drain. The first, 3D Ladies, is a limited edition archival pigment print on museum quality paper. The second is our first foray into limited edition wallpaper. Jim’s brick print on silver mylar wallpaper is a truly unique work that gives new meaning to an “exposed brick wall.”
