Keith Haring 1978-1982 At CAC, Cincinnati

On Friday, February 25th, the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati will open a unique exhibition of the legendary Keith Haring’s work. With drawings, sketchbooks, videos, fliers, posters, photographs, subway drawings, word collages, texts, and diaries, the exhibition focuses on the early part of his life, which hasn’t received the attention it deserves. Through the images and pieces in the exhibition, Haring’s maturation process is revealed as well as his visual vocabulary and influences, uncovering his philosophical standpoint, ideals, and initiations of political, social, and artistic activities.
