Video: Curtis Kulig “Love Me” Mural For The Standard Hotel In Downtown Los Angeles
With pictures surfacing earlier, The Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles now offers video of the mural painted by Curtis Kulig and covered with his “Love Me” tag. Working with a massive surface on 6th Street, the mural gets the blood-red treatment from Kulig as he uses his signature color to script various words on the wall in his familiar handwritten style. The long process, as evidenced by the sheer length of the wall, culminates when good friend, skateboarder, and artist Steve Olson drops by to assist with the finishing touches––a giant black “Love Me” painted over top of the scrawlings.
