“Desert Island” Curated By Gabe Fowler At Space 1026
New York City comic and artbook store Desert Island will be the center of a new exhibition opening up at Philadelphia’s Space 1026 on March 4th. The exhibition, curated by the shop’s owner Gabe Fowler, will feature 4 artists who not only work in the medium of narrative or illustration on paper, but were also invited to create sculptural pieces for the store’s display. That installation work will make it’s way to Space 1026 for the opening. Artists include: Ali Aschman, Lisa Hanawalt, James Moore, and John Mejias.
