James Jean “Rebus” At Martha Otero Gallery
Featuring paintings, drawings, and a wall installation, Los Angeles based artist James Jean will open “Rebus” on March 12th at Martha Otero Gallery. The solidity of the paint belies the illusory nature of the narrative: these excavations into the subconscious are fraught with the misfires, inconsistencies, and contradictions of a dream,” says Jean of the work.
