Plug Tunin’ – Lou Reed “Kicks”
Lou Reed’s solo career is pretty darn hit or miss, and in the aftermath of Transformer, the misses seemed to be taking the hits by storm. That is, until Coney Island Baby came along and songs like “Kicks” brought the songs about drugs back into the mix, but with a different take on the musical side of it, making for a haunting, creepy tale.
