Cinders Gallery Presents “Resurrection” With Richard Colman, Maya Hayuk, Hisham Bharoocha, And More
Tomorrow night, April 23rd, Cinders Gallery in Brooklyn will open a special exhibition dedicated to the haunting mythology surrounding resurrection (and at the perfect time of year to boot!). “Resurrection” will see a talent group of artists deal with this theme.
“Each artist in this group show focuses on ideas of rebirth through drawings, sculpture, and photography. Carved hands come down from the sky, sun rays break through the clouds, and ghostly portraits carry the essence of life well after their subjects are long gone. Glowing white light, sacred geometry, and collaborations with the sun are some of the investigations found in these bodies of work.”
