Riley Martin “The Cosmic Connection” At BLAST Gallery
For their second opening, Teaneck’s BLAST Gallery will open a unique exhibition from an artist with a unique story to tell. “The Cosmic Connection” is part of Riley Martin’s story. In 1953, at the age of 7, Martin was taken to outerspace by an alien spaceship and later again when he was 18.
Says Martin, “In 1975, the alien Tan fitted me with a kind of virtual reality headset. And through a visual strobe light burst, 144,000 different symbol configurations were downloaded into my mind’s Neuron-Syntaxes. I am now in the process of setting these symbols to paper.”
These works will be on display at BLAST Gallery. The exhibition opens on May 6 with a lecture from Riely at 5pm. The show will be on display until May 30th.
