Coming soon, Taschen will release a book of the special, instant photography of noted lensman Helmut Newton. “Polaroids” collects a large number of the test polaroids Newton saved over the years. The book offers a rare chance to see some of Newton’s greatest shoots over his many decades as a photographer in their test form, which offers insight into the vision he was trying to accomplish. Put together by his widow, June Newton, his collection captures the magic of Helmut Newton photo shoots as only Polaroids can. The book will be available in July.
