Video: Olek Hits Astor Place in New York City
With images buzzing around the web, video has now hit of famed crochet artist Olek and her recent beautification of Astor Place in New York City. After working with Olek on a PBS Off Book episode, Eric Brown tagged along to shoot the project, working from 4:30am to about 4:50am decorating the famed Astor Place cube with her colorful knitted creation. If you look closely, you’ll see that the sentence crocheted onto the covering is: “I’m still proud of what I do for a living.”
