About
Over the years, we’ve made a lot of friends. I mean alot––painters, photographers, graphic designers, graffiti writers, stylists, models. We’re not trying to say that we’re the popular kids and you can’t sit at our table, but rather the complete opposite. We’re sharing our friends with you through something we call the Living Proof Magazine Artist Alliance, which aims to give you creative products that work equally as well for their intended use, or as an affordable piece of unique art for your home, office, or body.
Artists
Launching in 2010, the first installment of the Living Proof Magazine Artist Alliance has got quite the line-up for you. Issue #4 back cover artist and feature interview subject Steven Harrington lends us his hands (and teepees and symbols and faces), while Marco Zamora (also featured in Issue #4) ink and pens us something totally awesome. And, we can’t forget our past darlings. Issue #3 main feature interview, Kevin Lyons will be providing some artwork because he’s the nicest guy in the world, and Ellen Stagg will surely be steaming you up.
Projects
I know we called them creative products before, but more so than anything, the Living Proof Artist Alliance is about creating creative projects. The artists have free range over whatever they’d like to do on the products, and we try to push the envelope by hopefully allowing the artist to work on something they’ve never worked on before. Ranging from hats, to t-shirts, to skateboards, and on into the ever-so-popular vinyl toys, each project gives the artist a great new way to show their art, and for you to get a piece of it.
