“Pink Noise” At Parlor Gallery With Thom Lessner, Mark Mothersbaugh, And More
Here’s the info:
On Saturday, February 4, Parlor Gallery presents the opening reception of their new group show “Pink Noise”.
“Pink Noise” is an exploration in the overlap of visual art and music. “Pink Noise” is an acoustic term used to “tune” a room for the best audio reproduction. We are showcasing some of the best artists who are inspired by music to create their artwork. Many of the “Pink Noise” artists have made their living in the music industry. Some highlights of the show include Mark Mothersbaugh’s radical rugs, Thom Lessner’s humorous illustrations of hair metal bands, and Asbury Park’s Mike McLaughlin’s stunning photographs of chaotic mosh pits.
Artists in this show include Mark Mothersbaugh, Mike Ski, Thom Lessner, Mike McLaughlin, Heather Gabel, Daniel Elden, Alexandre Boisseau, Ryan Cronin, Terry Griffiths, Robert Piersanti, Thomas Meyers, and Midwest Pressed.
